Goninan concept graphic produced for media, depicting proposed Dash 8 (P Class) for Westrail. The cab shape of this concept is obviously based around their earlier EMD DA Class locomotive. The construction of these units commenced soon after Goninan’s had completed the original order for BHP Dash 8s. They eventually looked quite different to this proposal.
